'Tis true. I really did barf on the Temple Grounds. As we took our wedding pictures, I began feeling nauseated early on in the session. 2 hours later, as the photographer said, "This is the last shot", I said to Ted, "I am gonna throw up." After the picture was taken, I rushed over to a bush...kneeled down in my wedding dress and barfed in a bush. A holy Temple bush. A bush that is supposed to be pretty. A bush that has been sentenced to a barfy putrescentness of Lauren. Poor thing. My mom held my veil and hair...Ted patted my back...and my photographer muttered "I am sorry" and awkwardly scurried off. Poor guy. Probably never seen anything like it.
Well, I am a married woman now. I am off to do married woman things ;)...you know what I mean. Like....laundry.

Yes, you will do.. laundry. And LOTS of it. Which is why I've adapted it as my favorite household chore. Because if not, I would go crazy doing it all the time. I'm SOOOO happy cause you look stunning, and I can't wait to eat CHEESECAKE tonight- that is SO much better than cake. BTW, you crack me up. I don't think your wedding day would've been complete without barfage. Everyone needs a funny story to tell!

(She made it to the bathroom-and since we were inside-phew!) Just after her sealing ended, her older brother had a sudden nosebleed right there in the beautiful white room. I think they were glad to see us go.

I'm sorry you barfed, but it could have been worse...the ring bearer barfed at my sis-in-law's wedding. She chose an older child (he was maybe 9) so that the ring bearer wouldn't go running off course to his mommy instead of bringing the ring to the altar, too.
Sadly, this "older child" had pigged out on McDonald's before the wedding. Ate Waaaaaay too much. So he's standing there, in the line with the groomsmen, and the ceremony is going on, and suddenly you hear this kind of choking sound...
And the best part? It's all on film. She was having her wedding videotaped. So for the longest time, we would run the tape forward and backward when he was over, just to remind him of that day. 'Cause we're nice like that.
You hate doing laundry! I'm pretty sure you wrote a post about how much you AVOID it at all costs, and that you can go up to 6 weeks without doing laundry. Poor Ted...

Back them this AZ.temple was the closest temple to south Texas. It was 24 hr. to drive. Which was a hard trip back then.
