lamespice=lame=not cool.

I was looking at my sitemeter the other night and noticed something quite shocking. My readership has grown 7x the amount since last May. Which means a lot of you aren't commenting. Which is cool...if you want to be lamespice. FYI...lamespice=lame=not cool. Just sayin'...

I then realized, it's probably because I haven't properly introduced myself to you! How rude of me! Please forgive me for my lamespice manners. My mother would be ashamed!

1. Umm..hi. I am Lauren. I pronounce my name like this:

LAW-WREN

2. I may be a little biased, but I think it is the prettiest way to say it. Just sayin'...

3. I make fun of pigeons, and say they are hideous...but it's only to cover up the undying love I have for those sicknast little rats with wings.

4. I call my husband "The Tedward" on the blog, but never in real life. I didn't realize I never called him Tedward besides in blogland until the other night when he was reading my blog he asked "Who is Tedward?" and I had to tell him that Tedward was him. I don't see how he could be confused when I was talking about "kissing The Tedward". Like I kiss random people. Psh.

5. By the way...my husband is a little "special" if you know what I'm sayin'...

6. I like to make fun of myself...and my loved ones. Don't get offended when I make fun of you...it just means I love you.

7. I really have a thing for frosted mini wheats. They are kinda like my best friends. That I eat.

8. Edward Cullen is cool, I guess.

9. I was first in line at the first showing of Star Trek. I didn't plan it to be that way. We just showed up early so we could have the seats where you put your feet on the bar. Waiting in line, it appeared that we were serious fangirls and fanboys...and I am regretting arriving so early, for that reason. BTW...Chris Pine is teh.hottest.

10. Possoms are my favorite animal. Don't judge.

11. I was interviewed by a celebrity gossip website here. for my semi-cool Twilight website.

Now that you know about me...It's YOUR turn to comment to me and introduce yourself! I am stealing this idea from cute Niki at "A Lovely Lifestyle" because I am a stealer like that. If it's your first time commenting, YAY! for new friends! If you are a long time reader, tell me something I don't know :)

Lurkers, come out, come out!

ME FIRST???? that never happens!!! You know me...right????

Kristina P. said...

I sort of have a thing for Eminem.

And I've found that probably only 1/6th of my readers actually comment, and I think that's pretty typical.

Lauren said...

Kate, of course I know you! :)

Kristina...yes. Blog readers are like that. However, I do this delurking thing every once and a while and it's fun :) Eminem eh? Sick. haha!

kkrowan said...

I love reading your blog...but I never have anything funny to say to your posts...so I just read.

Lauren said...

Kkrowan - HI! *waves.hi!* You don't have to say anything funny. Just be you! :)

RatalieNose said...

You know me.

But you probably don't know that I have 11 toes.

Well, that's cause I don't.

But I do know how to turn lights on and off with my tongue.

Pink Flip Flops said...

Um...I can't believe I knew you in real life and didn't realize how cool you were.
That's my fault though. I tend to be quite IRL much like in blogland...

Tasha... said...

Hi Lauren! I'm sorry...I'll DEF comment more. Pinky swear. Me no like-y being lamespice. =]

~~!!~~ (<-- that's me pinky swearing)

Lauren said...

Natalie - please tell me that you don't do that. So many germs.

Pink Flip Flops - I am really quiet too. People think I am lamespice in real life.

Tasha - HI!!! You are no longer lamespice ;)

Lydja said...

I don't comment very often because I hate to be a burden and make you read yet ANOTHER comment on your blog. Also, it's hard for me to just feel like one of the million people who read and comment. I like to be special. But, like Harry Potter, it's worth the read even if everyone else is doing it.

Lydja said...

And Lydja is not my real name. It's just a fun nick name for the blog world. Lydia is my real name.

Tay said...

We've met before on the internets. Then I admitted that I'm not a Twilight fan more than I am a Harry Potter fan and you stopped commenting.

Sad story.

I like to shut my door not all the way so my little boy can open it a little to make sure I'm in here. It's so cute to see his darling face peeking through the opening!

Susannah Jane said...

Hey! I am susannah, and lOVE your blog! You are so amazing!!

Tia said...

I agree that's the best way to say Lauren.

I could eat frosted mini wheats everyday. Have you tried the strawberry flavor? Not even half as good if you ask me.

Margarita C said...

*waves*Hello! I'm Margarita and I read your site and it always makes me LOL. Thanks for bringing a smile to mah face!

PRP said...

I'm so not a lurker, just a very busy and tired mama of 4...so even though I don't always take the time to comment (I know, the insanity!) I'm sending you cyber love and enjoying every tale you tell!

Shelby Lou said...

Let me tell you something you don't know about me...

One time I tried to break into an old movie theater....

:D ya... i'm a ruffian.. you can say it!

Whitney said...

Um... Where is this party? I havent heard anything about it. But told camille I wanted to be there.

Meghan O said...

Hey Lauren! I've commented a couple of times on your both your blogs, but not nearly as often as I should, clearly. I'm Meghan. Sometimes I sign as Meghan, Meghan O, or MEO18. It's hard when there are other Meghans out there and since I don't have a blog (I should get on that) it's hard to differentiate. Sorry, boring comment, I'll come up with better one's later =)
Keep on blogging!
Meghan

OH yeah, I'm MEO18 on twitter =)

Tay said...

i totally know what you mean about the crazy amounts of blogs to read!! So really, don't worry about it, I just wanted to be hilarious in my comment.

Sara said...

I'm Sara. I comment on both your blogs so I guess I'm not lame.

Here are some things you may not know about me:

-When someone says "Jacob Black" I physically cringe
-My husband thinks I'm nuts.
-I think he's lame.
-My daughter is awesome and today I was reading your blog and she pointed at it and said, "Lauren's Bite!" I told you she was awesome.
-I cut the crust off my sandwiches, but still eat both the crust and the sandwich.
-I wanted to be a lawyer but I switched majors when I realized that I couldn't say "penal system" out loud without giggling.

Bayloretta said...

I love love love your bloggy! It is so funny and provides such a break from the mundane day-to-day! Oh, and I am with you on frosted mini-wheats. They are the best by a long shot!

Jayci said...

that's a way cool interview snippet!! :) Go Law-wren. How did I not know that's how you pronounced it. And I agree. It is the prettier of the pretty ways to say it.

Taylor Blue said...

Hey, you have a very cool Twilight website. :) And it was so fun interviewing you!

the MomBabe said...

Hi love.

that's pretty much all I got.

Jill said...

Hi, I'm Jill. Mom of 2 girls and 1 boy. The girls say things like "I just farted in your lap" and "don't talk to me while I'm eating my boogers." I found your blog by accident, but they my sis-in-law says she went to high school w/ you, one year younger. I'm a Westwood 94 grad, I noticed you were one too (just a lot younger than me). I LOVE LOVE LOVE your blog and quote it to my husband all the time. Mostly he doesnt' get it, but it makes me laugh out loud. Keep it comin', and visit my blog sometime! (not nearly as funny as yours, but I do try).

JustRandi said...

Hey! Something I'd like you to know about me is that I love all things cranberry. Even the color.

Thankyouverymuch.

Heffalump said...

You already know me. I will admit that I don't comment of every post. Sometimes I just have time to read the feed and then I am off!

Something you don't know about me...hmmmm. I was in two different Rock bands back in my more youthful days. Neither of them went anywhere, but it was fun!

Shayla said...

Hi my name is Shayla, pronounced "Sha-niqu-a" sometimes "Sha-na-na" 'cause that's how I roll.
I totally know how it is, I too love to be validated on my blog with the nice comments.
I've been known to comment, but I could really step it up and leave multiples on every post to make up for the lurkers if you'd like!
Something you may not know about me is that I'm crazy fun awesome. Seriously. I love a good time & I'm not quiet AT ALL. You're going to love me as a RLF. {K that sounded super stalkery. Swear I'm not gunna force you to be my friend in the real life, you do have a choice. k I sound creepy. I love you?}

Lauren said...

Hey!
I pronounce my name Law-Wren too. When I was younger my mom would yell at people if they pronounced it the ugly way.
Umm.. something you don't know about me...mmmm, I have Hoppogriff too.
Ok not really I have a dog named Butch. He was named after Butch Cassidy. I pretty much love outlaw cowboys!

Sara White said...

Hi! I'm Sara(with no H-yeah)! I'm scared of ANYTHING touching my ears! I think you're kinda hilarious! It's true. You make me laugh out loud and people at work give me funny looks. Thanks for that. :)

I have commented a couple times and you have commented on my blog a couple times also. Some things you don't know about me are I have arthritis, I love pizza and could eat it every day, I love Del Taco and I could eat that every day too, and I LOVE coke slurpees they are my new addiction. I will try and comment more you deserve it!

Jenn with Two N's said...

Hey there, I'm Jenn (always with two n's). I adore diet coke. I date a man named James, who is the jam. I like to craft (like...crafty-crafts). I emailed you when I was writing a paper for college about Bella Swan, which p.s. got an 88 on. I also think Edward Cullen is cool...and that Jacob black is a silly little boy.

I vote, you should scurry over to my blog and comment as well...yea.

Trina said...

Introducing myself!
Hi, I'm Trina! I live in Tennessee, and I stumbled upon this blog through your Twilight blog one day when one of your pocket Edward posts was linked at the Twilight Lexicon. I think both of your blogs are super cute and funny, so I read both. I don't mean to be a stalker, I just think that other people's lives are more interesting than mine! Reading about other people is a way to see other parts of the world. But yeah, I don't mean to lurk, I just never have anything witty to say!

Lauren W said...

Ok, first... Amen on the pronunciation. That drives me crazy. Second... Sorry for being the total lame-o lurker that I've become... everyday I mean to try harder, and everyday, I'm reading my reader while running late for work :/
The end.

Jessica Biggs said...

HI, I'm Jessica!! Natalie got me HOOKED on your blogs! I love them, you're hilarious!!

Lauren said...

Lydja - that is the silliest thing you could say to me. It would never be a burden to receive another comment :)

Susannah Jane - Hey girl! I have been to your cute blog before :)

Tia - I have heard many times the strawberry ones are less than satisfactory. I will trust you!

Margarita C - Hi! I am glad you delurked!

PRP - Girl, I know how it is. You are sweet to comment!

Shelby - You ARE a ruffian. That is awesome!

Whitney - Tomorrow at Costa Vida at 1:30! You must come!

Meghan - I like the way you spell your name! Cute :) I wish you had a blog so I could comment to it :)

Sara - Your daughter just won the coolness award.

Bayloretta - Best.comment.ever. Thank you for the sweet compliment!

Jayci - I never told the blog that I pronounce my name that way. I fgured it would be a good thing to mention since I am meeting people tomorrow for the first time at a blog meet and greet :)

Taylor - Thank you for interviewing me! It was fun!

Mombabe - That was all I needed. Love you.

Jill - HI! Are you Noelle's sister?!

Randi - I love cranberries too!

Heffalump - What did you play!?

Shayla - I am excited for our real life friendship! :)

Lauren - we are sooooo twins!

Ana Cristina said...

Yay! I'm so glad you were interviewed and that other people get to learn of your awesomeness. Too cool. Just don't forget us little people when you hit the big time, 'k?

I am in love with the directive you put below the "Leave your comment" form. LOL!!!!

Also-also, I lurve the new blog layout. I need to get off my lazy butt already and ask Leelou to custom make me a layout. Was it expensive?

Jaydey17 said...

Hi Lauren! *waves*

Well I'm 19 and I'm from Brisbane, Australia. I have a blog, too, which you kinda inspired me to start! Reading yours made me remember how much I used to love blogging on MySpace so I started one here and I love it :)

P.S. LOVE the new layout!! I love those sorts of patterns muchly :)

Ashley said...

So, Law-wren, we have the same black shoes--the one's your wearing in that picture. Well I got mine at Target and if you didnt then they are just similar and not the same. Normally I hate when people have the same items of clothing that I have--even though I shop at Target where everyone shops--but seeing as how you live so far away from me here in Kansas City KS...I won't let it bother me.

So I read your site (and lauren's bite too) for every post but I'm a terrible commenter so yes I'm admittingly lamespice. I'll try better.

Sean and Steph said...

Law-wren,

We're kinda like bloggy friends, since we've commented a few times back and forth. If I lived in the AZ I would TOTALLY come to your Costa Vida party because you are completely awesome and I want to be your friend. I said something was "lamespice" yesterday, and the husband laughed at me for being a crazy person. I think he's jealous.

Also, I LOVE the new blog header! You're super creative. :)

Al said...

I've commented before, just don't do it often sorry about that. Couple things:

1. Love the new layout
2. Had to get a netti pot last week due to sinus issues, and when the dr told me about it I knew exactly what it was because of your informative netti pot post. And I would agree it's pretty much the most fab thing, and I am fascinated by what comes out...I know I'm gross like that.
3.Have a fabulous weekend.

I found a super cute digi-scrap kit for you at Scrapmatters.com its called Shabby Chic!! Check it out! You'll love it :)

Stacey said...

Hey Lauren! I love your blog. You finally coaxed me out of lurkerville, so this is my first comment. I'm Stacey (with an "e," the only respectable way to spell it). Sometimes I'll type my name stacEy just to give the "e" some proper credit. I also will admit that Edward's awesome taste in cars slightly factored into my recent decision to purchase a Volvo (not silver, however).

Something you don't know... hmmm... I've seen the movie "Scream" probably 25 times. But now I can't watch it because they cuss too much. (That and all the killing and stuff...)

David and Shalynna said...

I have read your blog ever since you commented on mine (thanks!) and I've laughed, cried, it was practically like a movie.

Listen to how random this is: I showed my friend the navy nautical dress that Blair is wearing in your previous post and she said, "I have that dress!" She then showed me the website and it is the exact dress. I might just have to buy it, but it's $150. Do you want to buy it together, split the pay, and then we each can own it for half the year? Think about it. Let me know. :)

Julie H. said...

Okay...you caught me...I'm a lurker! That's lamespice! But I love both of your blogs. I love that you are yourself. What a concept...srsly!

Well anywhoo...I'm a mom of 3. I love to cook and bake. I live in the other HOT place...So. Utah! My favs are sunglasses, lipgloss and flip flops. *BTW that's in a good way*

I don't know if I qualify for the lamespice category cuz I comment....but only so often....... so I guess that is pretty lamespice ok I'll admit it! But I'm commenting now! ;)

Jenifer K said...

Hi! Yes another Jenifer. But I spell mine with one 'N'. So yeah...I'm a lurker. Sorry I always felt like a creeper just lurking but I felt like it would be even creepier to comment when you have no idea who I am. I guess I have been secretly WAITING for you to post something like this to come out into the open! I totally LOVE your blog. You have actually inspired me to take more pictures (just got an awesome new camera) and to get up to date with my scrapbook! I don't even remember how I found your Twilight blog but through that I found this and LOVED it! So Hi! I am Jenifer from another HOT place - South Carolina (hot and sticky). I am a first grade teacher and will be celebrating my 2nd wedding anniversary this month! No kids yet (I'm with you on that front). I will try to not be lamespice (or creeperspice) and comment more (on both blogs)! :)

Hi! So I stumbled on your blog a few weeks ago during a late-night "I'm not asleep so I might as well be blog-surfing" episode. And I've been hooked. I love your sweetness - and your humor! And I love you and Ted. You two remind me so much of me and my cute husband. Just younger. But we started out at the same age as you. We've been married 8 years and have 2 boys now!

So for something about me... I once had a dream about a spider that was as big as a toilet. The dream was so vivid that for years I thought it had actually happened!

Thank you for claifying the pronuciation of your name. If we ever met IRL I would have said it wrong and then felt completely lamespice. But if I ever do call you Lor-ren, instead of Law-wren, you can call me Jennifer and I won't be mad. Promise.

I think you're hilarious, I want to say things like "That's what she said" and "Return with B0n3r" on my blog, but I'm scared of my super righteous in-laws, so I come here to live vicariously through you. Plus, the opposum is my fav. animal too. What are the odds? We were meant to be friends.

Hi Law-wren! I'm Crissie...uh, just pronounce it like it looks.

I've been a comment-leaving-fool ever since I found your blog a couple months ago.

I'm a native Arizona girl and I'm totally afraid of cockroaches. You know, the real big ones (we grew up calling them sewer roaches).
I am fond of talking in movie quotes with my sisters. It can be kind of annoying if you're not familiar with those movies.
I love to start projects and I think I can do anything I see on the home repair shows. Hey, that's 3 things.
I love your blog! And from here I found your mom's blog of which I am also a fan.

Alright, I am lame enough in life so I figured I better post.

I'm not sure why I don't post more often. I guess I thought you were already so popular that you didn't need to hear from me. I'll try to do better.

makeup_girl said...

Like so many others, I don't post comments very often because I think you're way too cool and too busy to respond. And since I'm one of those people who needs a response to NOT feel lame....

A few things:
-I LOVE your blogs. They make me feel young again. (I'm only 31, but being a stay-at-home mom with 2 kids, I feel so much older).
-When I read about your adventures (or misadventures) and see pictures of your rockin' pad, it makes me think of my college years. I used to be so stylish. I live vicariously through your blogs.
-I am so jealous that Tedward is supportive of your Twilight addiction. If only my husband was that cool.
-I used the word "lamespice" in a sentence the other day and felt hip. I had never heard the word until your blog.
-I wish I knew you and your family in real life. You, Ted and your mom seem like amazing peeps!
-You commented on my blog one day, and I felt like a million bucks!

Lindsey said...

Hey! So I admit I am a lurker. But not anymore. :) I've been reading your blog for a while and I started out reading Lauren's Bite and somehow ended up here. I never comment because I don't have a blog, but maybe I should make one! Anyways, I love your blogs. And I love your cool decorating skills. I'm not creative like that. haha. Bye!

So lets see one thing you don't know about me is I'm moving from mesa in 2 months and I'm sad to leave but kind of excited to see the what it's like not in mesa! haha..you know what I mean?

i almost said lamespice the other day. but since my friends dont read your blog( i know, i should really fix that and get them hooked like i am) i figured they wouldnt get it and just look at me like im crazy.
yeah, i dont really have anything interesting about myself.

hi, my name is Acia, so i linked into your blog through my neice while my son was in the hospital and i was going through some super tough times and it always brought a smile to my face ok lets be honest it made me laugh right out loud and i loved it, my kids thought i was crazy but aren't we all just a little. anyway all the women in my family try to go to women's conference at BYU and so this year when we got there me and my neice were using words like, lamespice, gayspice, srsly, and it was great, i even had the words "ain't no thang" written on my name tag. i love your blog it brightens up my day!

Jadyn said...

Hi Lauren,
This may seem a tad bit on the creepy side, but yes, I do read your blog. You have no idea who I am, and unitl now, I didn't really know who you were either... unitl now! =) Anyhow my name is...
-Jadyn Hicks
-Yes, I'm a mormon girl
-Yes I'm only ALMOST 15... don't be haten'
-Yes I am kind of... anti twilight - but don't hate me! I'm still a pretty cool chicka.
-Yes I'm, wow, near/at the bottom of this commenting list, so you might have some trouble getting to mine, but if you have gotten here, and you're reading this right now... well done!
-I was reading your post called "we're legit" (what does legit mean anyway?...) and thinking to myself, "how in the heck do I kno this girl?" And then, like two days later, I figured it out! Your friend Heidi, who is moving to Utah =(, is the receptionist/front desk lady/very friendly girl whom I usually schedule my appointments with at the Muse salon (the place where I get my eyebrows waxed).
-Yes, I loved your post called something like, "My favorite post ever", and emailed it to like five of my friends.
-I voted for you for the dazzle awards, and posted on my blog for anybody who ma have read it to vote as well.
-Yes, I ADORE the color purple.
-Yes, I THINK I want to be a Photographer when I gorw up.

Anyhow, that's me. And I'll probably start following your blog now that I'm pretty sure you aren't afriad of ALMOST 15-year-old strangers. =)

P.S. Jadyn is pronounced JAY-DIN, not JAY-DEN. It sounds a bit snobbish, but I thikn it sounds prettier with the I sounds rather than the E sound.

Even my husband loves the Pocket Edward and always is asking about him! (and he isn't even all that into Twilight) My oldest son (he turns two this month) will point at all of my Twilight books and say "Twilight...no touch!" yeah cauz he rips all of my books so he isn't aloud to touch them!

Ok Ok....I admit it (Raises hand) I am a blog stalker....well not entirely, I have commented a few times, but I never properly introduce myself.

Hi,(Waves) Im Jenna, not Jen, not GeNa, Jen-nah, that would be, Je, double N, Ah...Im not picky, I promise, just when it comes to pronoucing my name, please, say it right. If someone calls my house and asks for GeNa (Insert last name here) I go, Im sorry, you have the wrong number. If you cant say my name right, we have no buisness to do. I mean, seriously, how the french toast hard is it to say Jenna.

Ok...moving on...didnt mean to get hung up on my name. I came across your blog, when I read your Twilight blog. Which a link was posted on CafeMom, because of Pocket Edwards Bath. It made me giggle, (did I just say giggle?... looks.....sure did...HEADDESK) Once I read about PE and all of his funness adventures and your witty sense of humor, I was like...OME, shes my new best cyber friend...but she just doesn't know me...(that sounded kinda creepy...sorry)

Anywho...just wanted to stop, and say HI...I read your blog...and I am not a creepy lurker...I came out of the shadows, which is kind of like coming out of the closet but I am not announcing anything other then, "I am a fan"

Did you ever think you would have a fan base?? Kind of weird huh?

Ok ending this now...think I have rambled enough and if i dont want you to think I am too crazy...I will shut my yap trap now and go along my merry way...ta ta!!! Keep up the fun blogs!

I'm an obsessive Twilight fan. Except I don't scream like those teenage girls, because 1.I'm not a teenage girl anymore 2.I do it only in private :p
One last thing?? I use a lot of smileys ^_^

There you are... :) I don't comment much because most of the time my English sucks... So sorry for that!

I've commented on your blog 2 or 3 times...but I definitely should comment more!

But I guess I should introduce myself. :)

I'm Britney Jean. I'm attached to my middle name and use it way too often for my own good. Yes, I know it's the same as Britney Spears. Yes, I think she's crazy and ahem, slutty. But I also think she's talented and made a fabulous comeback after her "I'm gonna shave my head episode." I mean, not many people can rebound to sold out tours 2 years after that. Seriously.

I love your blog. It's addicting.

I eat Golden Spoon at least 3 times a week. It's pretty much the greatest thing EVER invented.

And I'm getting married on June 12! So...that means my poor little blog has been neglected. She's not too happy with me. But school + wedding planning + fiance time = no time for blogging...But school = over in 4 days! Yay!

That is pure genius right there.

What don't you know about me?
Um...
I seriously love Barry Manilow's music and will kick boo-tay if anyone makes fun for me for that.

hey! sorry I don't comment enough...I do ready though...but that's lamespice right?

Something you don't know about me...I have a webbed toe :) ok well not just one, since it really takes two toes to make a "web", but one sounds so much more normal than two...

Kristin said...

okay, I'll come out and play! :) You know me from other places..and I, Uh...this Edward Cullen is cool too. I guess.

I just sat here and said your name about ten times to figure out why it was so different in my head. Then I got it. Obviously, I'm a little dense sometimes.

I <3 you.

Hi i'm Rachael!! I have commented a few times before but not nearly enough as I should. I am in love your background. Cutest thing I have ever seen. So a few things about me:
- I grew up in Mesa but I have been living in New Zealand for almost a year. It is seriously the best!
- When I grow up I want to be an interpreter for the Deaf.
- I love your blog!!
Nice to meet you!

I voted for your twilight blog and I don't even read twilight. I'm glad that you won though!

Your blog is funny. You should check mine out sometime.

Sorry if this comment is lamespice, but I just wanted to de-lurk and I don't really have anything to say. Hence the lurking...

Camille Elise said...

Well...yes. I am one of those readers you don't really know that comments occasionally when I read a really funny post. That is this one. I don't know how I stumbled upon your blog...probably a friend of a friend's blog link.

Anywho, There is nothing exciting about me...as you may or may not have read on my blog. I do enjoy all of your cute random posts...they inspire me...in all sorts of ways. Like, to find a cute, funny husband like you got. Or to have cute hair like you got...or to, uh, have cool posts like you too. :)

Here's an interesting fact..I am post-poning my wedding for the mere fact that I'm scared to death...is that just Weird/Crazy?? We are still dating, I guess I'm just a VERY slow mover. Oh, and I met you in a health class at MCC..and I would stare at your cute pic of you and Ted that was on the front of your notebook and sigh* haha you two are dreamy delicous.

I started to read your blog after see the Adventures of Pocket Edward...I even tell hubby about it. He says Movie Edward wears lipstick, but he watched the whole movie with me. I know have shared your blog with all the girls at work. We read both of them. Good crafting and cooking ideas. Plus Lamespice is the new Lauren Ebonics.

Rae said...

I always want to leave a funny witty comment after reading your blog, but don't because my boring comment would pale in comparison. True Story. I'm pretty sure you knew the high school tracy.. are we the same person? Yeah, probably not.

Brittany and Johnse said...

I am a total spy and never comment :) ha ha ya for me....ok bye.

Tiffany said...

I am Tiffany. I'm obsessed with Twilight and all things Edward. My husband thinks I'm retarded and nobody else in the world actually likes Twilight but me.(Seriously, he DOES think that) He also doesn't know the name of the movie is Twilight. He calls it Team Edward cuz I made a team Edward shirt when the movie came out. I might not be the one who is retarded. I like to cuss alot on my blog but in real life I'm a very shy quiet girl. I'm very sarcastic and a smart ass. I love animals. Especially my fatso english bulldog. And you probably won't even read this cuz there are freaking 176 comments on her ALREADY!!

I love reading your blog! It's great for getting my daily dose of laughter in each day! I guess I've been following for a while now, but you are the most hilarious person I think I've ever heard (?). :)

Lauren - You are my guilty pleasure. My husband teases me mercilessly when he catches me reading your blog. He doesn't understand you - though he reads you every time I tell him to. I live in the middle of California and am the busy LDS mother of 4 girls. Your blog had made me remember the great early days of being married while still in college though I must say that marriage gets better and better. I was determined to boycott Twighlight but then gave in and nothing got done until all 4 books were devoured TWICE! Ok - that's me. Love you. - Michelle

I have been so shamed by your calling out of all lurkers that I started a blog about it.....

Thanks for making me laugh. You are one amazing chica!

Ashlyn said...

Sorry, I'm guilty of being a lurker!
But I thought I'd comment after reading your post and tell you how AMAZING I think your blogs are!
Your blogs always brighten up my day and make me burst out in laughter, I check them nearly every day for updates and so on...
Busy bee Lauren and Laurens Bite all the way!
But anyway... You are AWESOME.
:)

Alisa said...

Hmmm... one fact about me besides that I've been a lurker up til about 2 minutes ago... i think dragonflies are beautiful and i collect them, but if i come within 2 feet of a real one, i scream bloody murder... :-) love both your blogs!

I think I'm lamespice for just being WAY LATE at commenting...really, though, I don't care.

I live in an area in Alaska where it is more possible to see Russia than Sarah Palin has ever been (ok, so she came here for one of her husbands little snow-machine races...but I bet she hit the bars and didn't look West at al.!)

Fun Fact: Dr. that delivered me in ICELAND, delivered all three of my children here in Alaska!

During my last pregnancy I didn't crave food...I craved Eminem's music...really, frothing at the mouth and everything! Still don't know all the lyrics to even one song though...yea, I'm THAT lame!

kdgrimmer and I hang...

Hi Law-Wren.

My name is Helen and I stumbled upon your blog one day after coming across a Twilight fansite.

You are hilaaaaarious and we have many things in common like a love for Blair Waldorf, Edward Cullen, and Zac Efron.

I don't blog much, because nothing much goes on in my life that I want to write about it in teh internet worldz, but if I were to blog, I'd want to blog just like you.

You are super cool.

Amber Baker said...

OK, you are superfunny and awesomespice. You keep me laughing! Thanks! BTW I love the sicknast. That's my fav word of yours.

Andrea W said...

Found your blog thru your Laurens Bite blog (which i heart btw) but realize I never comment cuz what would I say, Holla? You always say what I'm thinking, only you say it better, makes me feel a bit like the less witty ugly step sis ya know. Thanx to you words like sicknast and lamespice pepper my convos, it's good times and I'm so glad I found ya!

Hi Lauren,
My name is Stephanie and I admit, I'm a lurker! But I'm changing... I read your post (a long time ago) about baking cookies but not knowing who ate them. And I was guilty of stealing delicious cookies. So I'm leaving a thank you note! Your blog is the best!

I always want to use your words, but you know how some words just belong to other people and it's not the same when you use them.

Thanks for being awesome!

Hi, I have commented a few times before. I am probably one of the few grandma's who loooooooves reading your blog.
I also read all of twilight books and have seen the movie, but now no more movies for me for a while because DH and I are serving a mission in Belgium and France.
I think you should write a book. You could be even more famous than you are now. Srsly, you should write a book. You are a very talented Lauren.

Ren Christians said...

My name is pronounced "Wren-shka" I go by Ren on the internet because it's easier. Sometimes when I blog I wonder why I even do it because I could just as easily journal and keep it all private. Part of me is weirded out that people I don't know are are reading it but not commenting and part of me doesn't care because it was never about "them" anyway. So I comment on your blog and I love that you reply to twitters as well!

Camille said...

So when I get bored at work I just might go blog hopping. And I ended up at yours one day and kept reading because I love Twilight...and I enjoy your writing. I'm Camille...you can check out my blog but I guarantee it isn't as entertaining as yours!

You are the cutest thing ever. I hope you never stop writing here. PS I'm Brinley, I know Ted from back in the day. You guys are so cute.

Oh Law-wren, how I've missed thee. Let me count the ways! I've missed you like my favorite bra. I look forward to the perk you give me daily and the smile I have just knowing you're there ... but no one else knows it :)

I'm in the middle of a trans-Atlantic move and have an unfortunate amount of non-access to my happy land. AKA blogger. But I will catch up ...even if it means I have to hire fraulein Maria from Sound of Music to come swing through the trees with my kidaroos for a day so I can pop some popcorn and read to my heart's content.

Um. What? Stalker? NO! What!?!

Do you make yourself laugh as much as your readers? I wonder.

Jill said...

Yup. Actually I'm married to Noelle's brother but I was friends with him when she was born so she's basically like my baby sister. I told her I read your blog and she says "I remember her, she's really funny." Gotta agree on that!

The Twilight stuff you write is my favorite.

i am a follower on your lauren's bite blog and follow you on twitter...you crack me and you sort of remind me of me but you don't have 4 kids and i'm pretty sure we're around the same age. you should check my blog for my kids singing paramore!!

*Hi, Lauren-pronounced-the-correct-way-which-is-LAW-WREN-instead-of-the-lamespice-way-which-is-LOR-REN.*

I'm MJ. I spoke to you on Twitter. Once. You probly don't remember, since you have so many wicked awesome fans. But if you do remember... Haygurrlhay! <-- And I promise never to say that again. :]

Uhm... So yeah this is me introducing myself. I'm very laid-back and chill, but I'm also obsessive-compulsive. Weird combination, I know. I'm very bubbly and energetic (Translation: obnoxious), and I just love having a good time. I like music; I hope to one day be a professional musician. I'm a guitarist-pianist-floutist-singer-songwriter. I am saved by the blood of my main man, Jesus Christ, who gives me life. And maybe, if I get lucky, I'll live in a big mansion right down the block from you and Tedward in Heaven. Yay us!

I enjoy laughing. And that is why I read your blog. Your sarcastic wit and inventive lingo never ceases to amuse me.

I am a good friend of your SIL (Emmmers). A long time ago she had me read some blog and I got hooked. I'm not a blogger, but I am a photo taking lover/scrapbooker. I'm addicted to pink and I do not discriminate against any cereals except oatmeal. I recently married shortly after you and we are heading to Disneyland for a short vaca. I would love any advice for two lovebirds on a budget! I know it's a fave place for you.

Hey Lauren! So I know I am a little late commenting here, but I just started reading! I just wanted you to know that I pronounce my name the same way! Sometimes I'll be friends with people for a while and it never comes up, I just let them go on calling me LOR-EN and then we get to talking about names and I'm like "Oh, btdubs you have been pronouncing my name wrong for a few weeks/months/years." I always tell people it rhymes with "star!"
Anyway,
onto introducing myself... I am from Maryland and I'm going into my third year at UVA. I fell in love with Twilight a few months ago (yeah, I'm behind since I ran the other direction when my 13-year-old sister was reading them, but you can only avoid Twilight for so long...) and thats how I found your blogs! My fam took a trip to Phoenix last summer and I am so jealous of your lack of humidity! Its great to read about your marriage, faith, love for the Cullens and adorable crafty-ness. Do you scrapbook? I love to scrapbook!
Anyway... thanks for sharing your life!
Lauren
