Love the big bow on the one shoulder. It has a very couture feel to it.
I know for a fact that, that many ruffles would look horrible on me,
but I still love this outfit.
Who knew that many bold patterns could look so put together?

I have to say that i pretty much love katherine heigl in 27 dresses and how she dresses in there, but i dont have a fashion icon- i take creative ideas from a bunch of movies, magazines and then just make it my own-

I don't really have a specific fashion icon but I do notice the clothes & accessories on people in every tv show & movie. I always seem to love pieces the girls in desperate housewives wear, esp Eva Longoria Parker. I'm loving all of these pics you pulled-esp the nautical dress! I WANT IT!

I love to look at fashion. When I used to work at the airport, I would always look in the magazines. I always wanted to see what people were wearing. I especially loved to see what people wore to any award show. I love pretty dresses.
I don't know if I have a set fashion icon. I love the styles of Ashley Greene. And Rachel Bilson and Sophia Bush. They always look so feminine and gorgeous without being too OTT and just plain blegh. They always look so elegant.
But I tend to just wear what I likel which can vary. I love pretty summer dresses with leggings and cute cardis. And pretty feminine prints and lace. But I also like some things a bit less girly, like black dress, long tights, ballet flats, beret, scarf, funky jewellery and wayfarers.
I love that show!!! I really like Serena's style as well! I think I could never pull off either of their looks but I like to dream that I could! I miss Gossip Girl so much!
Me and my sister in law were just talking about this show last night, and she was saying how awesome the fashion is! I'll admit I've never really watched it, but from these pics maybe I will! After seeing confessions of a shopoholic I wanted to dress just like that girl! I thought she dressed so cute!! She even made me want to have red hair haha

I like Gwen Stefani but could never get away with it. I loved her style during the No Doubt early days- kinda punk/sporty.
My best friend and I watch gossip girl too (we call each other on the phone and discuss it during commercials). Jasie LOVES serina's style, whereas I adore blair. Which makes sense, when you look in Jasie's closet, she could dress like serina so often. But I totally watch gossip girl for style ideas ALL the time!!
Beyonce, girl! oh hahah jk no way could I pull off her fashion. But I really like Carrie Underwood's fashion. I know she probably isn't one of the top fashion icons but I really like what she wears and I think she is gorgeous.

oooh Fun post! Ummm style icon?? Mary-Kate and Ahley Olsen..ya they pretty much wear trash bags sometimes, but hey if ANYONE could pull off trash bags it would be them. I also like Katie Holmes..I tend to just go to my favorite store websites and see what looks good on the mannequins j crew, urban, anthro etc.
I watch the show for the same reason. I love Audrey Hepburn, but our body types are so different that I have to tweak anything that looked great on her.

My style Icon is Jessica Simpson. I love love LOVE her shoes. I hate that they're so pricey- oh wait that's my husband who hates it :) She's got curves like me so I like to copy her style cause she makes the curves look va voom! :)

My little sister used to steal my clothes growing up and now that she has grown into her own sense of fashion, I would like to steal hers. It's hard finding style as a mom. I do the same thing! as often as i can watch the show, its purely on my interest to see what amazing outfits they are parading about the city.
i mean, its nothing to do with how much me and my lucas sit and laugh at the bitchyness of them all...or how he has the hots for just about all the moms, daughters, students, etc. on the show. and i for just about all the guys.... its just about fashion. end of story.

No real icon for me. I have a great eye for style but no confidence to pull it off... sad really. I always love a cute cardigan, preferably argyle, with cute jewelery. I have never tried vintage, although I think girls who do are darling! My style is pretty boring I guess because I like like clean lines & bright colors. What can I say, I'm simple.

But I also wanted to let you know that Target is coming out with a "Gossip Girl" inspired line of clothing in September. How great is that? And its bound to be budget friendly as well!
I love it too! It has been inspiring me to take more risks even though I work in a really conservative industry. I'm rocking the pencil skirt and sky high heels today! Yay for us fashionistas!
I should also say that I agree with the girls who text/call their friends during the show. My gf's and I do that too (and even critique the boys:) Even my bro asked the other day "do you have one of those taliban aka checkered scarves like Nate was wearing, and can I borrow it?" Love it!!

I thought I was the only one who watched shows for the fashion! Blair is my favorite fashionista on that show, though I don't really have a fashion icon-too much of a mom to pull anything off.
I'm crushing on Katie Holmes at the moment. Her hair rocks. But I am steady in love with my sister Darcy's ability to create amazing-amazing-stuff out of the craziest and ugliest clearance and thrift store finds. She's going to be huge one day.

If you watch Ugly Betty, please observe the fashion of Amanda the receptionist. Not only does she make me pee my pants every time she opens her mouth to say something, her outfits are BOMB.
