weekend update!

This weekend was the bomb dot com.
But I exhausted to the maximus.
So I will leave you with a sneak peek at the awesomeness!
1. Saturday after noon I met with my BFF Lindsay Loo and baby Navy!
I am pretty sure Lindsay is the hottest mommy to ever walk the planet.
And Navy is definitely the cutest baby I have ever seen. I love her :)

2. I am not really a champ at getting us all in the picture.
But I am a champ at eating things. Srsly. I am.
We enjoyed delicious Costa Vida salads. I ate the vegetarian one, and let me say...it tastes THE same as one with meat in it. I dare everyone to try it...plus it is cheaper! :)
Oh! As we were leaving Costa Vida, guess who was driving up? None other than "Moon"! It was amazing. We didn't really chat because I thought we would be hanging out on Sunday night...little did I know, I would get a migraine that day and not be able to see her :( I am sad.

3. Ted and I went to a concert, and it was "teh awesome"!
Want to know what was NOT "teh awesome"? Our dinner. We went to a place at Tempe Market Place called "Teriyaki Experience" and let me just say...it sure was an experience. A crappy-poopy-caca experience! I was all, "duuuude, this is sicknast." And Ted was all, "Duuude...I know". And I was like, "Duude, let's ace this place." And so we did. And we grabbed a slice of pizza at "Slices" and washed that sicknast "imposter teriyaki" away. It was awesome.

4. My name is Lauren, and I sport a fedora.
Yep. sure do.

5. Umm. Hi. I am in love with Paramore and Haley Williams

I went to see Paramore, not No Doubt. And let me tell ya...they delivered. I was in awe of their awesomeness.

I am so nice I recorded part of it for you...
If you listen carefully, you may or may not hear me singing along...

don't judge.

PS...my next post will be awesome. just sayin'...

Sounds like a great weekend! Are you a vegetarian? I noticed in a previous post you made yourself a non-meat enchilada. I've been a vegetarian since 2001 so if you need anything just let me know! Have you been to Green? It's on Rural just north of McKellips. It's all vegetarian and so yummy! You should def. check it out! If you want to check out their menu you can click here: http://www.greenvegetarian.com/.

Great pics! I'm sorry to here about your 'teriyaki experience'. The concert sounds awesome. I saw No Doubt back in like 2002 or 2003 and they were 'the bomb dot com'. Glad to hear Paramore delivers as well!

Can I just say how cute and fun you are in your blog! Thanks for dropping me a line on my blog so I could look you up and laugh at the awesomeness of a name like Tedward (my hubby read, well listened, to Twilight too!), agree to the fabulousness of a No Doubt performance (they were my first concert ever!), and give a big thumbs up to Costa Vida and the sweet fedora that you sport. (I love fun hats... and pork burritos at Costa Vida.) You're simply terrific.

C r y s t a l said...

You + Tedward = the cute

It makes me smile every time!

Steph said...

I love that you and Baby Navy have equally cute headbands in that picture!

Lindsay and Dano said...

It was so much fun going out to lunch!!! We have to do it again and often after that! Looks like you had a blast at the concert!!! Love ya!!!

Marianne said...

Paramore...wow! That would be so fun, but I would have to go with my daughters because my husband is still stuck in the 70's. Anything made after that is "JUNK" as he says. He just doesn't get it! Can we say John Denver & Barry Manilow...aaack!

It's maybe a good thing I don't know little Navy because I would be calling her a little Navy Bean! She's just that little and so cute!

Brett Alexandra said...

haha you are too cute. I love Paramore too! Hayley is so rad. I know her and Rob get along well. I saw a video of them together and chatting about music or something.

That costa vida place sounds yummy too. Not the other one so much:/

Candi said...

You get so many comments that I dont like to leave one! Not that I am jealous...I just dont think you read them all! Who knows. But I would just like to say, you and Ted are pretty much so cute! I love the hat, you most defiantly sport it well.

Sunbum said...

The baby is so cute!!!!! She is one of the cutest babies I've ever seen....After ME of course. :)

I kind of "heart" Paramore, I like a lot of their songs, but I get bored with the songs very quickly.

I think the lead singer is totally awesome though.

Emily said...

Wow you had a full weekend!!! I have never even heard of Paramore, I will find some of their music though, and listen to it.

THE Stephanie said...

You crack me up!! I love your blog! And I LOVE the baby's name!! Navy? That is adorable!!

And I totally love it that you bailed on the nasty restaurant and grabbed pizza. LOL That's awesome!

Sounds like a great weekend!

I, too love Paramore. I totally rock it with them on Guitar Hero. (yep, I am lame, and I love, LOVE Guitar Hero)
But I also love No Doubt, but I am old and they were new when I was in High School, So I love them because we totally rocked to them during Cheer trips...

I love Slices! I worked at ASU when they first opened. They had such yummy pizza. I was one of their regular clients. I went there about three times a week. Until I got pregnant, then my baby had me craving orange chicken from PF Chang's. So I only went to Slices once a week.
