Missionaries coming home is always great.
Congrats on the photo session.
i love your owl!! Great find =)
cant wai tot see what you have done withh all the stuff you found! charity looked so beautiful on her wedding day, sad i was not there
You always find great stuff at Goodwill. I wish I had that same creative eye to find cool things in old stuff..
Lauren~ I love all your "happies." That "something" you are using as a magazine holder it originally intended to be used to hold logs of wood and put next to a fireplace (I had one growing up in my house). I LOVE re-purposing things, however, and I really like your idea of using it as a mag holder. Fun Fun Fun
You did a FANTASTIC job on that engagement shoot! :)
Yay for Adam and Sterling being home! :)
Well...
You know what I thought of the minute I saw those chocolate mustaches.
Ahem. I love you.
And I love that owl. Of course. Because you know how I feel about owls.
I'm starting to think your Goodwill is in the middle of a fancy-schmancy neighborhood. Our Goodwill (and when I say "our," of course I mean the one I have to drive 30 minutes to get to) is full of the softer side of Sears, velvet Elvis artwork, Garfield drinking glasses--circa 1986 (from McDonald's, no less!), and ash trays in the shape of green lungs.
I only wish I was kidding.
Love the first picture! Oh and I love that bowl you found 2!
i love seeing pictures of your life
and your goodwill finds. i can't wait to go thrifting with you!
everything is cute as usual- my grandma used that exact item for her newspaper :p As for that pizza?... "i want that"
If I had a goodwill I'd totally shop at it just because you do! and you two are just so cute together!
Yummy yummy pizza!
Holy Goodwill finds!! Girl you are the thrifting queen!
And those mustaches... well they are awesome.
Ted looks like a villan from an old movie!
Awesome pics of happiness! LOVE it! :)
Especially can't wait to see what was done with the awesome Goodwill finds! :)
Have a happy day! :)
Ahh happiness! Life is good, isn't it? Congrats on the successful engagement shoot! How exciting! I love that photo. It makes me homesick! You should have have yet another blog where we can view all of your great photography!

Happy, happy, joy, joy!
Love Joes Farm Grill! And the sign under that huge tree that says "Danger falling scorpions" I know I spelt that wrong..
I love looking at what you find at goodwill I am excited to see what you do with them!!!
I think I need thrifting lessons. No, really. I'm so bad at it! I've gone twice this summer after seeing your blog and I must just be doing it wrong...
Also, I really adore your friends' wedding dress. At least from what I can see of it.
Great pictures!
that eyebrow lift is fantastic.
loooove the owl. would love to shop at your goodwill. the one close to me is full of junk. and not junk that can be made into something cool. junk that no one would want. which is why it's at goodwill.
and that pizza looks fantastic.
so much happy to be found in this world! :)
Ted's face is AWESOME!! How come the goodwill AZ seem to have the best stuff..?? ack..

Awww. Cute post! And Ted's eyebrow lift is pretty awesome, and impressive.
man I don't know how you find so many cute things... I usually fail when going to the thrift stores! I love the first pic with you and your hubs! :)
Gah! You find such great stuff at Goodwill. I'm jealous.
The picture of you and Ted made me lol! So funny!
Wow, you find such amazing stuff at Goodwill! my last experience there involved finding a really cute dress for $8 and then realizing it still had the Ross price tag for $6.99.
I love the vibrant colors in your engagement photo AND the tall grass looks awesome. You really have a talent Lauren!
Yay! :)
ok. Thats it. Were going shopping together always. got it? no more shopping trips that end with great finds without me! Im serious.

I am totally jealous of your finds at Goodwill. I have no design eye...pretty much the only way I see things is how they are. I wish I had your talent!
Yay for happy posts!
I love this post! My husband and I got a great picture of us with Chick Fil-A at our wedding. I hadn't eaten all day, so my dad had it waiting for me when we came out of the temple. I love your Goodwill finds. I'll have to send you a picture of a dress I scored last week.
Great finds!! I can't wait to see where you put them.
I see you and the family pull out all the stops when it comes to puzzles.
Perfect set up of the engagement shot. Well done!
Love the goodwill finds...here's a tip for you....the goodwill on Main and Stapley (by the old Mervyns) had things from Domestic Bliss...I know this because the tags were still on them. I scored some topiaries and other misc items...you need to check it out.
darling post! Love all your thrift store finds! Can't wait to see what you did with them!
Lovin' the first pic! Awesome.
You have so many great finds! I can't wait to see what you did with them.
That food from the grill looks yummy!
I am in love with that first picture--the one with the chocolate 'stache. I MUST have one of those. Is Ted taking a hint from movie Bella with the eyebrow lift? I think he does it better just sayin'.
I LOVE Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives. It's one of my favorite shows. That's awesome that you went to a restaurant that was featured.
The Farmhouse is truly delicious!
I like your hair in that picture of you and Ted with the Chocolate mustaches. :)
Don't come thrift shopping here in Utah! I've never seen anything that cool, or maybe you should and show me how to find that stuff.
You are amazing. I love that engagement shot. It rocks.
blast I had no idea charity got married.
Love love love your 'stache pict!! Will you always keep "your" Goodwill location super secrety? I'm lookin to score a new bookcase... help a sista out!?!
PS. Saw a CUTE red/black fedora at TARGET of all places that I thought would look rockin on yo pretty little head!
love the engagement photo. you have a good eye for composition. Also you should check out this website. I think you would totally appreciate the hilarity of it. I have been lol-ing all afternoon. http://awkwardfamilyphotos.com/
Those chocolate mustaches are hilarious. You always make the coolest things with your goodwill purchases. I can't wait to see what you did with the cuckoo clock. That pizza looks so yummy!
I love the Stache picture so much I think it deserves the sidebar. :)
Those silver candlesticks are ooh-la-la!! Happy things!
Looovve joe's farm grill. Sweet potato fries=heaven.
can't wait to see your thrift store makeovers!
luv your headband!
{one} that IS a great eyebrow lift. awesome.
{two} total goodwill scores.
{three} i've wanted to eat at Joe's ever since we shot our engagement pics there. now i REALLY want to go. that looks mmm...mmmm..GOOD!
{four} CUTE headband. :)
This has to be one of my most favorite posts of yours to date! You find some of the neatest things at Goodwill, I am so jealous!
Woah, this is my first time commenting on here!
Anywhos, (1)Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives is amazing. and (2) I know you're putting together a fabulous puzzle in that picture, but the first thing I noticed was the Harry Potter book. Thumbs up on that choice.
haha LOVE those stash's! and darling stuff from your goodwill trip!
Wow, that picture of Ted with the chocostache may be my favorite picture ever from this site.
love this post. love love love it.
I know the chef at Joe's... He is amazing!!!!! and I LOVE your headband!!! Where did you get it?
That eyebrow lift is villain worthy!
this is such a happy post. :o) I love it. You are so in love with your husband! Oh happiness... I love it!
you totally just inspired me to start shopping at goodwill.
So I wish I had your Goodwill skillz. All I ever seem to find is junk probably because I don't look for the hidden potential. Good eye, girl.
That eyebrow is amazing! Add in some railroad tracks, a helpless maiden, and a Canadian Mountie, and I think you'd have something there.
Can't wait to see what you made out of your finds! )
Lauren!
I know there was a post about this somewhere on your blog about your resemblence..But, pic number 2..You with your bride friend..You look like Christie Brinkley. Yes, my dear, she is beautiful..Keep it up.
and you TOO are beautiful. Sorry, didn't want to sound like that. I have a problem with hitting enter too fast..
Thank you for getting that pic of the Hankster, the one I got didn't have the puffy cheeks, and that really makes the whole pic in my opinion. so glad you guys came!
Congrats on the photo shoot! YOUR headband looks AMAZING!! {we should have a craft night sometime} annnddddd... I can't wait to see what you do w/your new goods :)
That looked like Charity Shepherd and Adam Akers! (wedding pics and mission homecoming pics). We seem to know a lot of the same people, just not each other. :) Your blog is awesome, I follow it constantly.
Totally understand why those things you posted make you happy.
If I'm I guessing girl...you got those staches @ Robin's party.
Because of you and your mom, I found the Rich Man's Goodwill in my town and I am so addicted, it's not even funny. Almost everything I've gotten there has been NWTs or a great designer label - and all with fantastic fit for so cheap.
It's insane there! They are so super friendly and quirky and everyone I meet in the aisles has a great story. And the staff! They'll get on the mike and call out, "Yellow tags are now 50% off?" HELLO! Yellow tags were like $2.00 or something crazy to start. I am practically stealing the stuff for 50% off.
I'd like to bear my testimony that (The Rich Man's) GOODWILL ROCKS!.
that is by far - hands down - the best ever - eyebrow raise by the Tedward.
Is that a bride in the 2nd pic? She looks so young, beautiful dress, you look alike, she must be a relative.
Bday boy is so cute with his cupcake and I love the engagement photo, great job on the headband.
Hey that's my cousin!!! I saw you at their reception...but I was too scared to talk to you! haha I'm so not surprised that htey got Carls Jr. Matt LOVES that place!
