As many of you have guessed, my secret mission was a 10-day vacation with The Tedward.
Don't worry, I took 200 pictures and have many stories to tell.

Day one...wakin' up at 2:00 AM and driving for 6 hours to sunny California.
Pretty much the only kind of "sunny" I like, is when the "sunny" is 73 degrees.
Arizona's kinda "sunny" is more like, "death". Just sayin'...
Anyway, we drove to Balboa Island and walked around, enjoying the cute-spice bungalows. We were in awe that people actually live in cute homes like that. I guess we were so in awe, because we live in a 650 square feet apartment with roaches. Awwwwwwesome.
Our walk was cut short, due to the fact that I had to pee my pants off.
Since we were in the presence of cute homes, I didn't want to embarrass The Tedward by saturating my pantaloons.
We decided to stop in a nearby Carl's Jr...not for the healthy breakfast selection, but for the johns. Obviously.
Let me just say, "Praise The Lord!" and do 500 hundred "Hail Mary's!" for the beautifulness that was the Carl's Jr. bathroom. It was cleaner than mine at home.
We then headed to Beverly Hills to partake of these....
Now, The Busy Bee and The Tedward were rather skeptical, considering we don't like cake, and we don't like Paris Hilton, a frequent customer.
We planned to eat there in order to debunk the insane praise that this cupcake shoppe gets.
My friends...we were proven wrong.

We were like kids in a candy store....
Except for one difference...

I chose Red Velvet because I like the color red...and I like soft things. Obviously!
Ted chose Coconut, because I wanted to try it....and he didn't want to hear me complain if I didn't like the pretty, soft one.
Verdict: we like sprinkles.

We then walked down Rodeo Drive, admiring the stores that were to embarrassed to enter, because of the attire that The Tedward was wearing.
We were pretty sure the assistants at Chanel, and Dolce and Gabbana would NOT be amused by his 2004 Westwood Track and Field shirt.
le sigh...
As The Tedward and I were laughing about the prospect of us running into an actual celebrity,
sure enough...it happened.

He was coming out a restaurant as we were looking at something else, and they ran into each other! We said apologized, he smiled and walked on. We turned to each other a few seconds later and said simultaneously, "Was that?....Crap!"

I live in Cali and we have a few of them one that is like three hours away (compared to 11 in LA) and we go ALL the time! The Key Lime and Red Velvet are teh BEST!!
Oh Lauren FYI Williams and Sonoma sells the Sprinkles mix and reciepe for the frosting! I have done lemon, red velvet, banana, and vanilla and they are AS good as the ones in the bakery!!

When Spinkles first opened near us in Palo Alto my hubby and I waited in line for 20 minutes to buy cupcakes. My sis-in-law has her own cupcake business and felt cheated on, but it was worth it!
I did miss you, although I really, REALLY enjoyed your mom's post. She should hijack more often! It is easy to see where you get your fantastic sense of humor from.

So i TOTALLY know the feeling of being idiots for not getting a picture....
im from vegas, so of course we got married in vegas :) for the first 2 nights of our honeymoon we stayed in the trump hotel. on sunday morning we were both starving but didnt feel like paying millions of dollars for room service breakfast. SO, my husband ran to the closest place, mcdonalds. as he was walking in hands very full...he spilled orange juice all over the floor. right after he did so, who walks past? none other than the donald himself. they were the only ones in the little hallway. he still kicks himself for making himself look like an idiot AND not saying anything to him.....
I saw Keith Urban in a store in Nashville once. He bumped into me and said "Excuse me" all Austrailia-ey like. I just drooled a little bit and said, "it'sokaykeefuuban." And I'm not even a fan of his that much. I can't imagine what it would have been like if he had been someone I'm a fan of.
