yeah...so last time we went to forks, we didn't have time to stop in la push.
ok...so i lie. i just didn't really care to go. not to mention it was about 50 degrees in forks, and pouring rain. and apparently it is ALWAYS 20 degrees cooler in la push. i was not diggin' that.
anyway, this time around it was clear and sunny, and 70 degrees in forks, so i was like, "mmmmkay, i can get over my jacob-prejudices and go to la stinky".
so off we went...in the Cullen-Mobile. yes, i call it that. license plate reads (ECULLEN)
the drive really is only 15 minutes from forks. it makes me wonder if stephenie meyer did a little google-map-direction-time-search when she was writing her books...or if her imagination has super powers (i wouldn't put it past her).
la push is obviously into all of the tourism because they even constructed "a treaty line". we didn't get a picture with it because apparently i don't tell ted to pull over in a timely matter. he said "too bad. you told me too late." yeah...ok. watch your back, the tedward.
there were hundreds of these crabs all over the beach. i felt sad because every single one of them was dead. we think they got washed up on shore, and the seagulls got to them because a lot of them had their chests ripped out. sadspice!

probably my favorite beach so far.
don't i just look cold? when im cold, my arms are always rigid at my sides. i dunno why...
we were laughing at that cliff in the background because a few weeks ago some 22 year old guy wanted to reenact the scene in New Moon where Bella cliff dives...so he jumps in...and the waves that crash into the cliff nearly killed him. when the search the rescue crew found him, they asked him why he did it. his response?
"i wanted to hear Edward's voice!"
someone, beat this guy a couple times. it will knock some sense into him.
of course the tedward and i HAD to do some jumping pics....
i am proud to say that i got this shot on the first try...
i had to jump 10 times for ted to get mine right. suckah!...oh wait...i guess im the sucker.

the tedward skipped rocks...
(la push had TONS of huge, flat rocks. ted was in skipping-rock-heaven!)
while i wrote proclamations in the sand...
("i ♥ ted, not jacob") awesome.
ted just acted like he was the shiz being a model and crap.

kudos with functioning in the cold. I know how cold the westy gets and I usually stay toasty in the car while others frolic to the beach. And Jacob is lookin good. love all the pictures :)

Jacob has never looked better. I especially am digging his red eyes. nice touch. I can't believe someone really jumped off that cliff. I volunteer to knock him senseful.
That cliff the guy jumped off of is my favorite island in the entire world. It's called Akalat and I did a project on it for one of my anthro classes...any excuse to talk about something somewhat related to Twilight. The lame guy who jumped is from GA and lives about 45 minutes away from me. He is on my personal vendetta list so I can smack him for making Twihards looks lame.
