friday night...

last night consisted of...

1. watching michael buble on oprah while i curled my hair and touched up my make up before ted got home from work. {remember? i don't do frumpy wife....or mac & cheese}

2. tweeting directions to the "lighting fireflies" band show. even though my directions sucked.

3. the tedward telling me i looked like a "hot hippie...or a hot pirate." i would tell you what else he said...but i am pretty sure you don't want to know.

4. going to our friend's band show. listening to awesome music. see cute blogger friends :)

5. starving to death, because we didn't eat before the show.

6. daydreaming of food while at the show.

7. going to Denny's at 10 PM ONLY because the tedward has been begging and begging to go for months.

8. ted ordered grits. who does that? who is this man?

9. our waiter called ted "boss".

10. i may or may not have laughed at the thought of ted being "a boss".

11. cuddled while watching "the stepfather" at a theater crowded with crazy teenagers who i swore were going to pee themselves.

12. cuddled in bed because we were freaked out from "the stepfather".

what did you do last night?

Last night was anniversary night so we had dinner at La Fondue (fancy place where they sucker you into cooking your own food) and then we headed over to see Law Abiding Citizen. I think I'm still full from dinner!!

Karen said...

Wow, you totally rock the hot hippie/pirate look! Were the grits from Denny's good? They scare me...
Last night I made a Ginger Sesame Teriyaki Chicken stir fry. It was pretty dang good. And spent the evening watching tv with my hubby and kids. Very low key. :)

Last night, I babysat. Also, I received a terribly newsflash and nearly disowned my sister.
I found out she doesn't like Peeta.
!
NO!!!
She doesn't like Gale either, but that's understandable. But Peeta?! I told her very sadly that we couldn't be friends anymore.

I wish my night was as fun-filled as yours! Mine consisted of grocery shopping; eating a yummy dinner of steak, homemade mac 'n cheese, and grilled butternut squash; and catching up on all of my Thursday shows that my DVR couldn't hold. It was a good night nonetheless!

My boyfriend came over and he played X-Box 360 in the living room while I watched TV in my room... so yeah...

How cute! We do date night every single week too! You inspired me to curl my hair.
Oh and last night we went to a haunted house and to sonic with a group of our friends. Almost went to see that movie tho!

Bree and Bryce said...

Fun night! You look so cute! Hubs and I got ice cream at sonic, went on some adventures at the dairy by our house, and while laying in bed at 10:30 got a text from our friends Trent and Charde telling us to come over. We did halloween crafts and played Rock Band. So fun!

Ryan, Meagan, and Jase said...

Last night was pretty low key- since the hubs is studying for a big test block coming up in dental school. So I danced with my two year old then went out shopping to try to find a good pair of maternity jeans for my ever expanding belly. NO LUCK- why are they SO horrible?! Does anyone know where to get some good, CUTE maternity jeans? Help- I'm tired of walking around in my yoga pants:/

That sounds so fun! I was at soccer conditioning, then orchestra... then sleep for PSATs. wonderful.

I went to dinner with a friend, then we went to As You Wish, where sadly, they were sold out of almost ALL Halloween pottery. LAME! So we went to Old Navy, and were booted out 5 minutes later because they closed. LAME! So we went to Ross, where I found a set of 3 apothecary jars for $12!! SWOON!!! I snagged those babies up and skipped to the register. Then, we went to her house and watched some past episodes of Grey's Anatomy :)

Cajsa said...

You look cute! I dont think I could pull off anything close to that! My man and I Were planning on having a nice dinner date without our kids but when we were dropping our kids off my mom was making one of her famously delicious dinners and we couldnt resist! So after we went to target and walked around it WITHOUT KIDS (amazing) and then went to get desert! When we got to the place we were going my brother in law was there and offered to buy our desert for us!!! We had such a fun night alone and didnt have to spend ANY MONEY!! It was awesome!

Joel and I have date night on Friday. Allways. No matter what. It is so important. We did dinner and a movie. I have to say I LOVE houndstooth. I have a very sentimental attachment to it - so I own a giant houndtooth purse that I love. and take with me pretty much everywhere.
I also have more to say...I love that the 1940's look in coming back. That is the perfect style for my body shape, and I am just thrilled.

Natalie said...

I spent the evening at my in-laws and, for the first time in a LONG time, the whole family was there! We ate takeout Chinese and watched the baseball game, chatted, laughed, and then lamented about the aforementioned baseball game.

I love my family.

Loys said...

Oh, I love your outfit!
I had another teenage moment yesterday: I watched High School Musical 3 with a friend and we swooned a little over Zac Efron. It was awesome!

Well since I had a sinus infection I was no fun. But my grandparents came over, I ate a bombpop, and did some cross-stitch. That's right, I do cross-stitch. I'm an 80 year old stuck inside a 22 year old's body.

i can't believe you saw the stepfather... i can't even watch the previews for that!!

hmmm... my friday night... i played a gig for this political fundraiser *yawn*, but made a load of money which made it all worth it! Josh and I went out on a date tonight to celebrate. We saw Couples Retreat- cute, funny, a little uncomfortable at times, but we're married now so it's ok! :)

Abby said...

Ok, I just read your tweets from today. I think we are twins- Josh and I are moving out of our first apartment too! I am soooo sad. We've had such good memories here, but we can't afford to live in an old inefficient house anymore! Just keep telling yourself you'll make new memories no matter where you are. As long as you're together :)

Aww sounds like a great friday night well... except the stepfather part of it.. but anyway.. what did I do on friday night?

I worked until 11pm. I lead a night tour at the Point Bonita Lighthouse to a youth group I used to be a part of. It was alright even though because of the 'crazy california rain storm' we had several power outages and the lighthouse was running on its generator until it ran out. So.. the lighthouse was OFF all week almost so I took my group out there with no lights, there was no moon out because they probably blew it up already.. or it was just almost the new moon.. but we did see all the stars in the sky until we were surrounded by fog.. which like never happens because bright bright san francisco pollutes the sky from just across the golden gate..

but still it was a great night. the group had a good time. I got home and made myself dinner which I finally ate around midnight then I couldn't sleep.

Molly said...

Did he call you a "Hot mama"?
Um....last night....I stayed up all night listening to paramore. Good times.

Sounds like an amazing night. Im jealous!!

I stayed home and ate chocolate frosting while watching "The Notebook" with my dog. We both miss our boyfriends, so we like to wallow in self-pity every once in a while. haha :)

I haven't been there in years!

I scared kids who came to door bell ditch my house by disableing my doorbell and putting a scary Halloween one there instead that grabs you when you press the button. Funniest thing ever to see a 15 year old run for his life from a doorbell!! ha ha

Went to Chili's with hubby. Ate Fajitas.

Watched season finale of Psych - Love that show!
