things that make me happy {#2}

i ♥ sundays.
it's the only day of the week that ted and i are together the whole day.
after being spiritually uplifted at church, we usually spend the day with me making a special lunch, followed by a very long nap, and then going over to my parents house, and then watching a movie together before bed time.


today we decided to go on a picnic...

it was a perfect day here in mesa, arizona...
the sun was shining, and a wonderful breeze was blowing....

we layed out our blanket under the perfect shade tree...and pulled out our yummy grub.

we started off with sundried tomato-hummus with the ONLY pita chips we eat around here...Stacy's. Srsly, they are the BEST.

we then ate homemade chicken salad sandwiches with tomatoes and avocados on fresh ciabatta rolls...umm. death by food.




the only way to have a picnic is on pretty plates and real silverware!
especially when the plates have birdies on them! (Holla! clearance rack at Anthro!)

oh, and what is the only soda lauren drinks?
Jones Soda...duhspice!
Tedauren loves them some cream soda...

we snuggled as we let our food settle, and asked each other very important questions, such as:



ME: "If you could have dinner with anyone, who would it be?"

TED: "Can they be dead?"

ME: "of course."

TED: "Do they have to be real?"

ME: "Nope."

TED: "Then I have no idea."


Or...

TED: "If you could change one decision you made in high school, what would it be?"

ME: "Not kissing *blank!* before I got tied down by you. Geez."

TED: "Yah...I dunno why you didn't kiss him either."

ME: "What about you?"

TED: "Probably wouldn't have abstained from sex. Overrated."



Please love that we are sarcastic all the time.



we had strawberries and black grapes for dessert.
have you had a black grape? they are delicious.

...and then we napped.
