i feel like there is ALWAYS something to be happy about.
no matter how rough life can get, there is always something to be thankful about.
i am happy that i came home last night to the smell of brownies baking.
i am grateful for my mom who highlighted my hideous hair, even though i practically had to yank off her right arm to do it. but i gave her a poinsetta, so she can't complain.
i am happy that i get to spend the weekend with tedward for his 23rd birthday.
i am grateful for toilet seat liners. i hear guys don't have them in their bathroom stalls. that sucks.
i am happy about the skinny jeans i finally got brave enough to buy.
i am grateful for ted making me a poached egg and whole wheat toast for breakfast.

I'm bummed because I just made a B on a really important paper that I needed to get an A on, but life is still okay because a) I'm eating brownies and b) I go to Disney in 24 days.

I am happy that it is almost Friday.
I am happy that I have one week of class left before the semester ends.

I am grateful for the end of the semester and almost being finished with tests. End of the semester means more time to do things I love like teaching, sewing, painting, seeing favorite bloggy friends.........basically everything not school related.

i am grateful that i am done with 3 out of my 5 classes. and that i have two christmas parties this weekend. and that i am going home in a week!

I'm loving my skinny jeans too (their on right now) and I NEVER, EVER thought I'd be a skinny jean girl. My trunk is full, if you know what I'm saying...but they're my best friend and I would wear them everyday if it were appropriate. Congrats to you. You look fantastic!

When I bought my first pair of skinny jeans I didn't wear them for months because I was such a wimp. Now I looove them & want more.
I'm grateful that I have legs so I can wear those skinny jeans. & that I have the ability to help others.
I'm grateful to be married to my best friend and soul mate and for our six wonderful kids.
I'm also grateful to finally have paid off all of our debt aside from our house. We are broke now, but it feels great to be out of debt!

I FINALLY got an A on a calc exam after getting Ds on the first two (and that was after studying my butt off for the first two as well). Also, this may seem random, but since I'm thinking about calculus, I was doing my homework last night and I was like, gee whiz, I"m really really thankful for the unit circle. Life (and trig) would be very difficult without it.

I'm happy for music. See, my dad has always had a dream to sing with a professional choral organization. Well, he was recently accepted into the East Valley Mormon Choral Organization and I was able to attend his first concert tonight. As I sat there listening to them sing, tears rolled down my face as I realized that my dad was realizing his dream. I'm so grateful to have witnessed that. I'm so grateful for Nora, who traded shifts with me at work so that I could attend the concert. (They were SOO amazing, by the way. I can't wait for their concert in March!)
