a day in the life.

 

sometimes ted and i eat spoiled pumpkin pie unintentionally.

and then we both get stomach aches at the same time.

and we don't sleep a wink and entire night.

and we barf together for twenty-four-hours.

and i whine because i hate being nauseous.

and ted says, "at least the pumpkin pie tasted good."

and i want to punch him in the face for that remark.

and we watch food network. and everything looks vomitous.

and at that moment, we truly know how sick we are.

and as much as we hated being sick...

 

 

it was sure nice spending the day together...

even with the barf, saltines and sprite.

4 years.

today is my blog's birthday. it has been FOUR years since i started this dang thing.

i can't believe i was a little eighteen year old, with seriously no idea what a blog was in the first place, but decided to give it a try anyway. i can't believe all of the growing up i did while keeping this blog. i was just out of high school, went through a weird/crazy relationship while ted was on his mission. ted came home...we dated...we got engaged...he moved to seattle during the engagement...i got a tumor...had surgery...ted came home from seattle...we got married...and here we are. seriously, i am so thankful for everything this blog documents. i can't wait to bind it in a book one day.

here is a look back on just a taste of everything that has happened in the last year:

ted turned 23.

i got bangs.

i grew my bangs out.

i got nerd glasses.

ted calls them my "super spy" glasses.

i started an online shop.

i took a lot of photos.

i turned 22.

we hung out with friends.

i met some amazing online friends.

we went to disneyland twice.

we got gizmo.

we adopted rocky.

saw a live taping of a tv show.

cut a hole through my finger with scissors, giving me permanent damage.

bought lots of instant cameras.

supported family in family events.

tried a lot of new restaurants.

fell in love with ted some more.
