this was the worst day ever...but to combat that, i have put together my favs from my tumblr this week. all of these make me smile. and it makes me smile that i can share with you things that inspire me! (yes, this is my favorite post of the week)

as mentioned before, we went with ty, sierra and cat to Tucson to see Okkervil River this weekend. it was seriously one of the most incredible shows i have ever been to. you know how you can just feel the music in your bones and you want to just go around and hug everyone? that's how i felt. except i didn't hug anyone, because that would have been awkward. but really, such an incredible show, and if you ever have a chance to see them, please do! i hope to hold on to the memory of that show forever.

before the show we walked around Tucson a bit, and i snapped photos along the way. isn't that last cactus photo amazing? i want to frame it.

kwan's sampan = the best chinese ever

there is this chinese restaurant in mesa that is so gloriously delicious, there are no words to describe it's awesomeness. best part? it's freakin CHEAP....and the portions are huge. for instance, ty and sierra and me and ted share ONE order of orange chicken and ONE order of fried rice and we still have plenty of food leftover...and it only costs us 10 bucks! what the heck!?

if you live in mesa, i guarantee you have seen Kwan's Sampan before, and drove right past it because it looks so unimpressive. it's on the southeast corner of Gilbert and Mckellips right next door to Ned's Krazy Sub. PLEASSSSSEEEEEEE go...please, i beg of you. look past it's ghetto interior and it's tacky overall lack of swagger...and order the orange chicken, and your mind will be blown.

best service, best food and cheapest chinese food in arizona. i love Kwan's.
