baby shower for sierra!

PhotobucketPhotobucketPhotobucketPhotobucketPhotobucketPhotobucketPhotobucketPhotobucketPhotobucketPhotobucketPhotobucketPhotobucketPhotobucketPhotobucketPhotobucketPhotobucketPhotobucketPhotobucket

My best friend who just happens to be my sister-in-law, is going to be having a baby boy soon!
I have been over the moon excited about his arrival, so I just had to help throw a baby shower!
Me, my mom, Sierra's mom, and her sisters put together a shower today with a "british rock-and-roll invasion" theme! We knew we wanted to do something out of the norm for a shower, but that really fit the personalities of Ty and Sierra and their future little rockstar :)

Since I have had all sorts of sickness this month (WHY DO I ALWAYS GET SICK IN JANUARY?!) and a recent case of pink eye, I was very happy that Sierra's mom and sisters took on the role of preparing the food...all I needed to do was the decorating. I think it turned out marvelous. I hope you had fun taking a little peek at the fun day!

Now it's just waiting for baby to arrive!!

Hey Lauren! That is the cutest baby shower spread! I love it. I am such a fan of cupcakes. Even more so than cakes. I love the union jack flags. You guys did a great job! Looks like an awesome time. Jennifer from Cairel Chronicles gave me your blog link. She said you were MASTER when it came to The Hunger Game Movie happenings. I did a post today on it and there are many people who are as unfamiliar as I am about it, BUT VERY INTERESTED. If you have a moment, could you chime in your thoughts. I would appreciate it girl. Thanks! :)

This. Is. A-mazing. Holy cow you are all rockstars! What a fun baby shower!

And ps. I don't know if I've ever commented on your blog yet, but I've been a stalker for quite some time. My mom is actually even more of a stalker than I am, and I love everything, your honesty and especially your humor. You're just beautiful and your husband is one lucky guy! (ps. totally waited/dated/now: dating an RM who I loved in high school) so we're kind of like kindred spirits.

Sierra said...

you are seriously the BOMB! I can't tell you how grateful I am to you and everyone else for all that you have done for me and the baby! Oh, and Ty too!

This is the SWEETEST thing I've ever seen... and I mean that in both senses of the word, like a gangsta in a long shirt and baggy pants and a backwards hat spotting a 60s Mustang "sweeeeeeeeeeeet," and Effie Trinket seeing a little Katniss Peeta baby and squealing "AWW HOW SWEET!"
